Project Management

“Woodfellows have been instructed by Norwich City College to provide services in respect of the purchase and conversion of Norfolk House, a well-known building in the heart of Norwich. Initially providing a comprehensive building inspection report prior to the college’s purchase, Woodfellows instruction continued through to providing contract administration and project management services for the fit-out works to prepare the premises for higher education use at the start of the new academic year. We are also progressing a dilapidations claim against the former tenant with a view to settlement of this upon completion of the works. Senior Surveyor Simon Sheldrake: “In the current market where educational establishments find their budgets squeezed it’s vital to ensure value-for-money in fit-out works without compromising the high standards necessary to reduce ongoing maintenance costs. Woodfellows’ knowledge and understanding of commercial property has allowed us to see Norwich City College through from initial interest to occupation of the building.””
