ABOUT Woodfellows LLP

The highly experienced team at Woodfellows LLP offer core commercial building surveying and project management services, working primarily with existing property in the industrial, office and retail markets.

Established in 2002 by David Woods, Woodfellows LLP has maintained a consistent level of service provision and professionalism by keeping the business tight and controlled. All new instructions are generally repeat business or business to business referrals from satisfied clients or associates.

Although based in Norfolk over 80% of the instructions completed from this office are outside of the region due to clients wanting a consistent approach to their commercial property needs.

THE TEAM

David Woods

Partner

David is a Chartered Building Surveyor and founding partner of Woodfellows.

David previously worked for Chesterton Plc and Drivers Jonas in various locations throughout the UK.

David started his surveying career at the tender age of 17 and undertook his qualifications part time to become a Chartered Surveyor at 23. He is well known in the surveying circle for his lateral thinking and having an in depth knowledge of the commercial property market.

In his spare time David enjoys his family, field sports and watching Norwich City FC.

Simon Sheldrake

Partner

Simon is a Chartered Building Surveyor and joined the practice in 2011 after qualifying with a local consultancy.

Simon has been instrumental in securing and growing regional and national business with both institutional and private clients across the commercial property sector.

Originally from London Simon emigrated to Norfolk, set down roots and has a young family.

Outside of works Simon enjoys cycling, socialising and is often spotted in the beer gardens of Norwich’s finest ale houses.

Simon has a degree in Building Surveying from Nottingham Trent University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Nick Willis

Partner
Nick is a Chartered Building Surveyor and has recently become a Partner in the practice.  He joined the team in 2012 and has since adopted a dedicated client base consisting of both new and retained clients.

Nick is an experienced Building Surveyor and Project Manager and specialises in commercial landlord and tenant matters, dilapidations and managing a wide array of commercial projects.

In between eating and drinking, Nick enjoys days out with his young family, more eating and drinking, travelling and sport.

Patrick Crawford

Associate
Patrick is a Chartered Building Surveyor specialising in dilapidations and lease matters.

Born and bred in Norfolk, Patrick recently moved back to the area after working in Yorkshire for Malcolm Hollis Surveyors for several years. During this period Patrick gained considerable experience in advising both landlords and tenants throughout the UK and Europe.

Working with the Woodfellows’ established client base Patrick is continuing his in depth delivery throughout the UK.

In between work Patrick enjoys following Norwich City, sampling the pubs of Norfolk and spending time at home in the garden.

Luke Wale

Associate
Luke is a Chartered Building Surveyor and joined the team in 2017.  He previously worked in Oxford for several years before relocating back to Norfolk and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor with a local consultancy.

Luke studied his degree at the University of Reading where he graduated in 2009 with BSc (hons) in Building Surveying.

Luke has experience in many professional and project related Building Surveying roles and has predominately worked with private commercial clients in the office, retail and industrial sectors as well as experience with specialist education and research facilities.

Away from the office Luke enjoys spending time with his young family and keeping fit playing football, cycling and studying martial arts.

Robert Groves

Assistant Surveyor
Robert joined Woodfellows in January 2020 having shadowed members of the team for a few months prior to starting.

After graduating from University in 2018 with a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Management, he is currently studying for an MSc in Building Surveying in order to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Outside of office hours Robert enjoys keeping active, watching sports and drinking at any of the Wetherspoons pubs around Norwich.

Matt Hemeter

Project Manager
Matt joined Woodfellows in January 2021 as a Project Manager, having previously worked closely with the practice during his 5 years working in the commercial roofing sector.  Matt has a wealth of property experience on site and dealing with a wide range of projects.

Matt graduated from De Montford University in 2010 where he achieved a First-Class BA (Hons) degree.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys sampling the odd craft ale, watching football and trying to play golf! He also boasts about having the best beard in the office!

Anna High

Historic Building Consultant
Anna is a Consultant to Woodfellows and has been based at our Woodfellow offices since 2002.

Anna qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1993 and obtained a Masters Degree in Conservation of the Historic Environment in 2007.

Anna gained experience working for several surveying firms in Norfolk and Suffolk before setting up Annahigh Consultancy Ltd in 2000.

She is well respected locally for her design flair and in depth practical knowledge of historic properties.

In her spare time Anna enjoys spending time with her horses and gardening. www.annahigh.co.uk

Lisa Goldsmith

Office Manager

Lisa joined Woodfellows in 2012 after working in the public sector.

Lisa is the backbone of the office and controls the administration and day to day running of the practice.

From her experience in commerce Lisa brings a high level of efficiency and organisation.

When not keeping the ship afloat, Lisa enjoys time with her family and making wonderful cakes to keep the office well fed.
